The Suffolk trailer has a unique chassis beam construction for maximum strength and durability. It also has shock absorption pads to eliminate noise and vibration and steel hydraulic pipes are mounted along the centre of the chassis.


A choice of sprung axles are available - using commercial mono leaf road springs and axle towing arms with replaceable bushes or rocking beam axles using heavy duty construction on large diameter pivot pins with replaceable bushes. Hydraulic brakes are standard.

Suffolk silage trailers are designed for front or side loading, with mesh front panel and profiled side extension panels. An interchangeable deflector board is supplied for side loading silage trailers.


The hydraulic up and over silage door uses the standard hydraulic tailgate with a silage extension.

The up and over tailgate uses an efficient mechanical linkage system to lift the silage door automatically when the trailer is tipped.

Suffolk silage trailers can be fitted with a hydraulic up and over tailgate or with an automatic wire operated up and over tailgate.





The Suffolk Rootcrop trailer is a low line trailer to facilitate damage free root harvesting. Using the Suffolk design features Rootcrop trailers have a lower side height and a longer body.
